We are now at the end of our Summer term and can all look forward to a lovely break. For the pupils who have joined us this term we offer you a warm welcome and hope that you are enjoying your lessons.

Please can you ensure that your child is changed and ready to start their lesson at least 5 minutes beforehand. This would be very much appreciated so that the classes may start on time and not run over.

As mentioned in the previous newsletter we have a “For Sale” list on the notice board. If anyone has any ballet/tap items that are in good condition and they wish to sell them please add them to the list.

On a personal note I would like to thank all the parents and pupils who came and saw me in my college show, I hope you all enjoyed watching, as much as I did performing!! As many of you know I am currently at The Bristol College of Dance studying for my teaching qualifications. I am pleased to say that at the end of my second year I have passed my FDI (Foundation of Dance Instruction) in both Ballet and Tap and am awaiting the results for my Modern. I will begin my final year in September and commence the CDE (Certificate of Dance Education) in all three genres. This past year has been hard work but I feel the Dance School has continued to flourish and I would like to thank you all for your ongoing support and look forward to teaching you all in the future.

As previously mentioned we are thinking of holding a quiz night, they are a great social evening which everyone can be a part of. It would be really good if everyone could support it. A list will be put on the notice board for those of you who wish to attend.

The last class for the Summer Term is Saturday 25 July, when you will be able to enjoy watching your child’s class. Please check the notice board for the timetable. Classes recommence on Wednesday 2nd Septembeer.
